Ring of Barahir or Ring of Aragorn

Sterling silver

The Ring of Barahir symbolizes the oath between Men and Elves in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings universe. It was given to Barahir by Finrod Felagund and passed from him to his lineage, up to Aragorn. It has no magical powers, but rather represents the legitimacy of the line of Isildur. It was forged in Valinor during the Elder Days before arriving in Middle-earth. It depicts two intertwined serpents whose heads meet beneath a wreath of golden flowers.

At The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory, I offer it in sterling silver with darkened recesses, set with a peridot-imitation cubic zirconia, and crafted entirely by hand using high-quality jewelry techniques.

Made to order: each ring is unique.

The ring of Aragorn and of the line of Isildur.

Aragorn, displaying the legitimacy of his lineage with the ring of Barahir before going into battle.Aragorn, displaying the legitimacy of his lineage with the ring of Barahir before going into battle.

The ring Aragorn wears in The Lord of the Rings is the legendary Ring of Barahir. It is not a Ring of Power: its true strength lies in the history it holds, in an oath born in the First Age and passed down for millennia as a symbol of friendship, honor, and nobility.

Forged by the Elves in Valinor, during the Age of the Trees, it belonged to the Elven king Finrod Felagund. After being saved by the man Barahir, Finrod gave him the Ring as a pledge of an eternal oath: as long as his lineage endured, a bond of friendship and aid would exist between their two peoples.

From then on, the Ring of Barahir passed from generation to generation through the blood of Beren and Lúthien, the King and Queen of Arnor and the Dúnedain of the North, until it finally reached Aragorn, heir of Isildur and rightful descendant of the ancient kings of Númenor.

A symbol of lineage and destiny: two entwined serpents surround a wreath of golden flowers. This ancient emblem of the House of Finarfin makes the ring a jewel laden with mystery and symbolism.

More than a piece of jewelry, the Ring of Barahir represents the loyalty between elves and men, the memory of an immortal oath, and Aragorn's right to claim the thrones of Gondor and Arnor. A legendary jewel for those who wish to carry with them a piece of the grandest history of Middle-earth.

Why buy it from The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory?

Thick and personalized, comfortable and unique. Buying your ring from MeriTomasa has 3 advantages:

  • Thick and without tricks or plating. I don't use silver plating; each ring is made of 100% sterling silver. I also don't make rings with a "paper-thin" effect: laughably thick rings that bend at the first bump. My treasures are designed to offer you a unique treasure, properly designed and resistant to the passage of time.
  • Comfortable and wearable. Designs conceived to be beautiful on the outside and comfortable and wearable on the inside, to offer you maximum elegance but also maximum comfort.
  • Made to order: I don't manufacture thousands of miles away or do large production runs to then "personalize" them with some small detail. I have my own workshop and I make each ring to order. Each ring is truly unique, and not just in name :-)

No tricks or plating! Crafted in sterling silver. I make them myself to order in my own workshop, with exclusive designs inspired by the books of J.R.R. Tolkien and 100% handmade.

No tricks or plating! If you've browsed online, you've probably found it cheaper: you may have seen rings made with other metals (like stainless steel) or perhaps plated, or rings so thin you could look but not touch them, like "cigarette paper," where the slightest bump will deform your ring.

The main difference between my rings and the mass-produced ones you can find on other websites is the quality and the handcrafted production. I only work with precious metals, like sterling silver. And I craft each piece by hand.

The result is a unique, high-quality ring.

Stronger and more durable.

More personalized and more exclusive.

A collection born from a custom commission.

Custom orderMy Barahir ring, like many other jewels from The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory, was born from a custom order..

My Barahir ring, like many other pieces from The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory, was created as a custom order. It was made for me by Mariona, from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.

Mariona asked me very tight on time because it was a gift, and the gift had a date: a weekend getaway in which Mariona wanted to propose to her boyfriend, and give him Barahir's ring as a token of that commitment.

What do you think her boyfriend's response was?

Frequently Asked Questions.

How long does it take you to make it and send it to me?

I make my rings one by one in my workshop and I don't have stock. I need between 7 and 10 business days to make your ring and between 1 and 3 days for shipping (Spain). For international shipments, between 2 and 6 days. Are you in a hurry and need it sooner? Write to me and I will organize to prepare it and send it to you as soon as possible.

How can I know my finger size?

In my blog I tell you all the tricks to know the Tatum measurement of your ring. Please make sure of your size. If you have a sample ring that fits well, the best solution is to measure it with a caliper. If you don't have a sample ring, my recommendation is that you visit two or three jewelry stores in person to find out the Tatum measurement of the finger where you want to wear it.

What if I make the wrong size and ask you to change the size?

My rings cannot be made smaller or larger because they are custom-made. The only option in these cases is for you to contact me to return it to me and for me to send you a new ring. You can do so within 14 calendar days from when you receive your ring, but you will have to bear the costs of shipping to MeriTomasa and reshipping back to your address (Spain: €15 return + €10 reshipment; international: €30 return + 20 € reshipment), plus 10% of the price of the new ring. Also keep in mind that you will have to wait another 10 days to receive your new ring. That is why I highly recommend that you visit one or several jewelry stores to correctly measure your Tatum measurement.

If I don't like it, can I make a return?

No. I work out of stock and make each of my rings to order, customizing the size and materials to suit each order you make, so I cannot offer the return option (unless there is an error in the manufacturing of the jewel). by MeriTomasa).
